XBL Enhances Senior Management Team with the Appointment of Dr. Ron WhitePlainsboro, NJ, January 06, 2011 - XenoBiotic Laboratories (XBL) is pleased to announce that Ronald White, Ph.D. has recently joined XBL as its Senior Vice President of DMPK Science and Technology. Dr. White will provide high level guidance and oversight to XBL staff and clients related to XBL's core DMPK research areas including ADME and Bioanalysis. Dr. White will also serve as one of XBL's key scientific representatives within the DMPK community at large. Dr. White brings a broad scope of drug development experience to XBL with over 23 years in the pharmaceutical industry (13 years at Bristol-Myers Squibb and 10 years at Schering-Plough). Ron held senior positions at both Schering-Plough and BMS in DMPK discovery and development research areas. Prior to entering the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. White was an Associate Professor at the University of Connecticut, Pharmacology Department, School of Medicine. Ron obtained his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin and completed a postdoc in Biochemistry (microsomal related sciences) at the University of Michigan. He is currently an adjunct Professor at Rutgers University, College of Pharmacy. Dr. White is highly published and serves on the editorial board of several key journals in the DMPK field.
